Wine Tasting and Dancing the Night Away

The 10 of us take off for a tour of the vineyards that are springing up all around us. Great Pinot Gris and Sauvignon Blanc. We hit three tasting rooms, buy a few bottles to keep us stocked up for the New Year, end up at a restaurant on the ocean for dinner and then hit the New Year’s Eve celebrations in central Nelson. Roads are closed to car traffic and the streets are full of all ages who have turned out to celebrate the turning of the year. 3 bands play on a stage at the end of Trafalagar Street. We dance the night away and Ru analysizes each of our dance moves. A fun evening to usher in 2018. I Find the perfect New Year’s Eve Photo to share on my I Phone. Haven’t uploaded from it for a while. It’s actually a photo from a May Day celebration on Mayne Island that is still on my phone. Perfect for the ocassion.
